Episode 34: A Long Interlude

It's been a long, long time since I've updated this comic.

As a child, I absolutely loved playing with Lego.  Even more than video games, I played with these little bricks like a madman.  My friends and I would come up with stories together (often based on video games, of course), and we'd lead each other through little adventures much in the same way as Dungeons and Dragons sessions are played by kids and adults the world over.  In a way, this comic is my way of reconnecting with a younger, more idealistic self.  In another, it's a diversion from actual day-job-esque workloads.

Most of all, though, it's the best way I can tell this story.  Trust me, I've got pages of notebooks to go through, and plenty that I had sketched out in my head but never even got close to.

I did a photo-shoot for about six more comic pages.  If work isn't too overwhelming (and hopefully it won't be!), I'll get more of these out when I can.

Thank you for joining me, and, as always, my warmest regards,

Episode 32: Balancer

So, uhm...This one is wider than usual.  I used a much wider panel format to try to create a larger scene, all to better explain the rise - and fall - of mana!  I have to say, I really like how the images turned out.  I hope they help to really bring the story home.  To be honest, this isn't even that bad of a panel to start someone off on!  I liked it so much, I'm releasing it before Wednesday!  Will I get another done, by then?  Probably not.  Maybe a short/silly.

Also, for some reason, my newest batch of pictures are in a different resolution than I'm used to.  That's something I need to correct, and will, but it shouldn't be noticeable in terms of image quality, in the comic itself.  Enjoy!

Episode 31: When Brute Force Fails

I'm not entirely thrilled with the bug-eyed Goldhook at the end, there, but at the same time there's a certain charm about how he reacts to hearing something absolutely incredulous.  Especially after brokering a rather crooked deal with a prince-prisoner.  Double-especially after hearing Habbo ramble on, which I guess isn't too unusual.

Anyhow, I hope you like it!
